The Point Stud ships as one earring — add a second to your cart if you want both ears. This is intentional: forcing a pair doesn't match how most men actually wear diamonds. **The stone:** 0.25ct round-brilliant, Excellent cut, F color, VS1 clarity. IGI-certified. 0.25ct is the classic men's stud size — noticeable at conversational distance without crossing into showy territory. Smaller reads as too subtle; larger crosses into different aesthetic territory. **The setting:** Four-prong martini basket in 14k gold vermeil. "Martini" refers to the low V-shape of the basket, which sits close to the ear and shows more of the diamond from the front than a standard basket. The prongs are polished and filed so they don't catch on hair, hats, or helmets. **14k gold vermeil post:** The post is genuine 14k gold vermeil — a thick solid 14k gold layer over sterling silver. This is hypoallergenic for most wearers, including those with nickel sensitivities, and won't turn skin green. The post is standard 0.8mm thickness for pierced ears. **Backs:** Large-face butterfly (push-back). Stable through sleep, exercise, and daily wear.
